Born and raised in the beautiful Island of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Juan graduated on 1979 and began his career in The Real Estate and the Hospitality and Travel industry. With more than two decades of experience, Juan joined Barceló Hotels USA Sales team as our Vice President of Sales and Marketing during Summer of 2013. Juan’s experience has been an excellent asset to Barceló’s 27 Latin American Hotels. Prior to joining Barceló, Juan worked with prestigious companies including Super Clubs, Iberostar, Occidental, NH hotels and Melia Hotels, serving as Director of contracting, Director of Sales, Managing Director, Vice President of Sales, and President of his own company, Sunreps. Juan’s greatest strengths are his creativity, drive and leadership. He thrives on challenges and leading his Sales team of 12 executives in the USA. Juan is based at the Head Office of Barceló in Miami. He likes high impact sports, has a Dominican Heart and lots of love for Mexico and the Caribbean.

More than two decades of sales experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, Diaz-Coreas previously served as Director of Sales for North America at both Barceló Karmina Palace Deluxe in Manzanillo, Mexico, and Barceló La Jolla de Mismaloya in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She also brings with her prior sales experience with Mayan Group Resorts and Blue Bay Resorts, among other hotel and travel-related companies.

Ms. Lorissa Fermin was born in Dominican Republic, she has a Business bachelor degree and 12 years of hospitality experience, worked with Globalia Corporation and AMHSA Marina. She has been working with Barceló during 4 years, started as a our Sales Manager responsible for the USA & Canadian market based in one of our flagship hotels: Barceló Bavaro Beach Resorts in Punta Cana, due to her outstanding performance Barceló promoted Lorissa as our Regional Sales Manager for the Northern East Coast of the US, based in New York as of January 2014.

Carmen G. Lozada recently joined Barceló Hotels & Resorts in February 2015 as Regional M.I.C.E. Sales Manager with an overall objective of securing group business for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Puerto Rico market. She is a 21 year veteran of the hospitality industry holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from the University of Puerto Rico. Carmen joined the industry in 1993 while completing her internship, she then worked in Finance, Housekeeping, Front Office, Banquets, Convention Services, Timeshare Marketing and Group Sales. Through these years Carmen was known for her excellent customer service skills, leadership and for constantly exceeding goals. Carmen’s main objectives are to build trust with her clients when planning their next meeting. She is extremely passionate with superior client relationship cultivation and networking skills. Francisco Gonzalez, Regional Director of Sales M.I.C.E. for Barcelo Hotels and Resorts, based in Houston, TX, is a key player for the development of sales and strategies to grow this segment for the Latin America hotels portfolio, in order to achieve the company's objectives and goals. Mr. Gonzalez's history of sales experience dates back to 1992 where he started as the US Sales Manager for Solaris Hotels and Resorts Mexico, a position that in 1994, made him win the award "Manager of the Year". He has also worked for other hotels such as Villa Group Resorts, Karmina Palace, El Cozumeleno Beach Resort, Hacienda Vista Real Villas and Spa in Mexico, The Franklyn D Resorts in Jamaica and the Island of Barbados. Over the years, he has also worked and consulted with other hotels in the sales and marketing fields including the Sheraton Puerto Vallarta, Azul Tulum, Buenaventura Hotels and the Scuba Caribe and Renova Spas in Mexico and Dominican Republic. She has built strong relationships with agents on the East Coast and Northeastern parts of the United States, including with Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network and Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
