Acceptance of the General Conditions
You agree to have read and accept to abide by the General Contract Conditions to be found at the foot of the page.

Date of Promotion
Qualified client bookings are for those made starting on Nov. 1, 2008.

Bookings and Confirmations
3.1 The club prices and the perks required for familiarization travel are valid to be used by you, as a member of Barcelo Partner Club, and a companion of your choice, on condition that he/she is accommodated in the same room as the owner of the booking.
3.2 Your application for accommodation with BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS constitutes a binding booking agreement on your behalf. The booking contract will be binding for BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS from the moment they confirm the booking and price to you in writing.

Payment by way of perks or using club prices
4.1 perks corresponding to the cost of the accommodation will be deducted from the member’s account on their registering with the hotel.
4.2 The club price will be payable to the hotel upon arrival. Prices indicated in the booking confirmation and on the price list in a different currency to that used by the hotel may undergo slight variations.
4.3 Payment may be made to include new perks accumulated between the time of booking and the starting date of travel, up to a maximum of one week before commencement of travel. For technical reasons, no modifications can be made after this date.

Modifications to services and/or prices by BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS
5.1 Bookings effected through the Barcelo Partner Club program shall be made within the framework of the commercial program whose objective is the reward and promotion of the products of BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS. These bookings are limited to accommodation of a maximum of 14 consecutive days.
5.2 In the event of a variation to the provision of meals and/or accommodation and/or category of hotel or others, BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS reserves the right to modify both the club prices as well as the perk’s tables. Given that it is possible to make bookings almost one year in advance, this right will also apply even if the traveler has already received his/her booking confirmation. In this instance, BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS will issue the traveler with a new valid booking confirmation before the start of his travel, detailing the new booking terms and conditions.
5.3 In the event of changes to the booking confirmation by BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS, the traveler will have the opportunity to cancel such familiarization trip, at no cost, within 2 working days from the date of receiving notification of such change.
5.4 With regard to accommodation bookings, in certain instances BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS reserves the right to modify or cancel entirely the confirmed hotel booking, in which event BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS will endeavor to propose an equivalent offer or, in the case of cancellation, assume any associated flight cancellation costs, except in the event of first class travel, when, subject to proof of payment, a refund will be issued in an amount equivalent to the cost of economy class travel on that same flight.

Cancellations or changes to the confirmed booking by members
6.1 In the event of a change to the booking or cancellation of a confirmed booking, 1000 perks will be deducted from the member’s account by way of cancellation costs.
6.2 In the event of a booking having been made at club prices, 1000 perks will be deducted from the member’s account as cancellation costs and, in the event that this is not possible due to an insufficient number of perks being available in the member’s account, a charge equivalent to one night’s accommodation costs will be deducted from the account, and an invoice to this effect issued to the member.
6.3 These conditions will be effective on condition there is no case of force majeure.

Transfer
Accommodation on familiarization trips is reserved solely and exclusively for a registered member who has a valid employment agreement with a member travel agency. Accommodation rights are non-transferable. Kids are eligible to travel, however it is limited to up to two children. BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS, as well as its contracted staff, are authorized to verify any traveler’s identity by way of presentation of the appropriate identity documents and the Barcelo Partner Club code and/or any other document proving the beneficiary’s employment with a member agency of the Barcelo Partner Club. If, upon carrying out said verification, misuse of the Barcelo Partner Club is proved, BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS are authorized to charge the traveler for the difference in cost up to the total price payable by the general public in accordance with rates applicable at that time, as well as having the right to cancel any booking that has been made and/or exercising the right to refuse admission.

Various
8.1 In the event of not taking up the trip, without having made a prior cancellation (No-Show), a perks charge will be made which is equal to the total cost of the accommodation.
8.2 In the event of the booking having been made at club prices, an equivalent charge in perks will be made from the member’s account, and if these perks are not available in the booking owner’s account, a charge will be made equivalent to the value of the trip, and an invoice issued to the member to this effect.

Jurisdiction
The user accepts that the operation of this service is subject to Spanish legislation, and submits himself to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Palma de Mallorca for the resolution of any differences arising from the interpretation or application of these articles.

BARCELO HOTELS & RESORTS reserves the right to make any changes it considers appropriate to the established terms and conditions.
